About Dr. Lindsay T. Lucas

Dr. Lindsay T. Lucas is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and trauma specialist at The Orthopedic Clinic, focusing on orthopedic trauma, complex fracture management, non-unions, and hip reconstruction. She is dedicated to helping patients recover from serious injuries, regain mobility, and return to the activities that matter most to her.

Dr. Lucas earned her medical degree from The University of Queensland School of Medicine-Ochsner Clinical School. She completed a five-year orthopedic surgery residency at the Medical University of South Carolina, followed by a fellowship in Orthopedic Trauma at the Hughston Clinic, where she gained advanced training in the evaluation and surgical management of traumatic injuries, complex fractures, and hip joint reconstruction.

As a trauma specialist, Dr. Lucas is highly experienced in treating patients with severe or complicated fractures resulting from accidents, sports injuries, or other high-impact trauma.

Her approach combines careful assessment, state-of-the-art surgical techniques, and meticulous post-operative care to optimize recovery and long-term function. She also has expertise in managing fracture non-unions and complex surgical reconstructions of the hip, allowing her to address even the most challenging cases.

Since joining The Orthopedic Clinic in 2022, Dr. Lucas has been committed to patient-centered care, emphasizing clear communication, education, and collaboration. She ensures each patient fully understands their diagnosis, treatment options, and expected recovery process.

Outside of work, she enjoys scuba diving, triathlons, and traveling. She is also an avid home chef and baker, bringing the same attention to detail and creativity to her personal life as she does to her practice.
