About Dr. Todd A. McCall
Dr. Todd A. McCall is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who joined The Orthopedic Clinic in 2007. Born and raised in southern Illinois, he specializes in orthopedic trauma, complex fracture management, non-unions, and total hip replacement. His practice is centered on treating serious injuries that require decisive evaluation, technical precision, and a clear path to recovery.
Dr. McCall earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois before attending medical school at Southern Illinois University. He completed his internship and orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Florida, followed by advanced trauma fellowship training at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, one of the busiest Level I Trauma Centers in the United States.
Working in a high-acuity environment sharpened his ability to make timely, thoughtful decisions in complex trauma situations and shaped his approach to fracture and injury care.
Throughout his career, Dr. McCall has focused on caring for patients with challenging orthopedic conditions, including severe trauma, fracture non-unions, and those requiring hip reconstruction or replacement.
He emphasizes clear communication and patient education, taking the time to explain diagnoses and treatment options so patients feel informed, confident, and supported throughout their care.
At The Orthopedic Clinic, Dr. McCall is known for his calm, methodical approach and commitment to delivering high-quality, individualized care, particularly in situations where experience and sound judgment matter most.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. McCall enjoys spending time with his wife and three children and can often be found supporting them at sporting events. He also stays active through fishing, hunting, weight training, basketball, and practicing jiu-jitsu. A proud University of Florida alumnus, he remains an avid Gators fan.
